The Writers’ Workshop, an integral part of the Library, was set up in June 2005 and meets monthly. It has grown steadily into a highly motivated group concerned with creative writing in English, embracing all styles from fiction to non-fiction, articles, letters, poetry and memoirs. It is open to members of the Library: even if English is not their first language, all writers and would-be writers are welcome! To find out more about the Writers’ Workshop read the latest bulletin.
So many people say they wish they could write but don’t know how to begin. Optional monthly assignments with guidelines are a proven inspiration to those who need a kick-start, and many interesting pieces have been read and critiqued at the workshop.
If you are interested in attending, check out the Meetings and Assignments Calendar. For more information please contact the Secretary, Marlene Jeanrenaud by email or telephone +41 (0)22 344 5323 or +41 (0)79 693 3581.
