Borrowing Limits
Each person in a membership may borrow six books in total at a time. Single Members may take two Non-Renewable books, 2-Person Families three, and Full Families four. Members under 16 years are not permitted to borrow Non-Renewable books. ('Non-Renewable' books are those recently added to the Library and so which we expect to be in demand.)
Loan Period
Books are loaned for four weeks. 'Non-Renewable' books, travel guides and books which have been reserved by another member cannot be renewed. All other books can be renewed for up to two further four-week periods. Renewals run from the date the book is renewed. Books can be renewed in person in the Library or by telephone (+41 (0)22 732 8097) during the Library's opening hours preferably before the date they are due.
Reservations
Library books which are currently on loan can be reserved free of charge; you will be notified as soon as they are available. Please request this service at the desk.
See the Rules and Regulations for more details.
