Recommend a new member (and get a deal!*)
First, complete the form below with your details and the details of the person who you would like to recommend.
If that person takes out a full-price annual membership, you can choose either:
- CHF25.- voucher* to spend during one of our book sales, or
- receive a 2-month extension* to your own current membership plan.
*This deal is open to annual members only.
Volunteer your time
Volunteers make up the heart of the library, doing everything from sorting and pricing books for the book sales, to working on the desk, to checking the books on the shelves are in the correct place, and much, much more. If you would like to volunteer your time, please complete the form below!

Donate books
Your book donations allow the Library to thrive! Make space on your shelves and drop off your used books any time the Library is open. We will be thrilled to accept your donations, which will either be integrated into the Library, or sorted for sale at one of our book sales. All proceeds go towards the running of the Library.
We accept:
- Books in English in good condition (fiction or non-fiction, including reference books). Children’s books and recent fiction are particularly welcome.
- Children’s books in other languages
- Recent magazines (sold in the Library all year round)
We do not accept:
- CDs
- DVDs
- VHS Tapes
- Audio cassettes
- Computer and console games
- Books in languages other than English (except children’s books)
- National Geographic magazines
- Encyclopedias
